Capital Fund is proud to partner with Primary Care Health Services, Inc. (PCHS) as the organization invests in a stronger, more accessible health care system for its Pittsburgh community.
Through a combination of New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) financing and a direct loan, Capital Fund is helping PCHS make a transformative investment in the future of health care.
For more than five decades, PCHS has been an important part of Pittsburgh’s health care safety net. Its main clinic was built in 1968 as one of the country’s first Federally Qualified Health Centers. Today, PCHS operates 10 locations, providing medical, dental, specialized services for people experiencing homelessness, and family support services to a diverse, predominantly low-income population.
The new facility will be a modern space designed to better support patients, providers, and the delivery of high-quality care, helping create a more welcoming and patient-centered experience.
The project is expected to more than double the clinic’s square footage and increase the number of patients served by 144%, giving PCHS greater capacity to meet growing demand and expand access to care.
This is the power of strategic capital investment: strengthening health center infrastructure today to expand access and improve community health for years to come.
Capital Fund is proud to partner with PCHS as they build on more than 50 years of community-based care and prepare for the future. Thank you to Capital Link for your partnership in helping make this vision a reality.
